The verse:

He taught Adam the names of all things, then He presented them to the angels and said, “Tell Me the names of these, if what you say is true?”1

— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran

And He taught Adam the names - all of them. Then He showed them to the angels and said, "Inform Me of the names of these, if you are truthful."

— Saheeh International

It clearly tells about the gift of Knowledge and the gift of the brain (reasoning, memory, logic, intelligence), in the superiority of angels..and so they were sent to earth for trial…so that their good or bad deeds would be judged.
